Asplenium scolopendrium (Hart’s Tongue Fern)

An easy to grow variety of the native Hart’s Tongue Fern. Characterised by a readily forking stipe and fronds with light crisping at the tips. An elegant and easily grown fern. Will grow in most situations as long as the soil is well drained and in shade. Moisture retentive soils give a very lush look to the fern whilst dry shade will result in slightly smaller plants once established yet still supplying valuable evergreen cover in these difficult spots. Readily grows in dry stone walls, living walls etc.
